The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was declared a pandemic by the WHO on March 11, 2020, due to its high infection rate, which caused thousands of deaths worldwide and expanding. evolving outbreak COVID-19 requires health-protective behavior that can alleviate severity an epidemic. Therefore, recognizing underlying drivers against is urgently needed form policy responses. purpose this study investigate individual-level affecting formation knowledge, attitudes, COVID-19-related among individuals aged 50 older who are more vulnerable complications because their age. factors making also associated with ability access understand information, make well-informed decisions, take promoting actions, especially when information itself not timely, trusted, consistent, or actionable. researchers used data from representative population sample consisting 50-80-year-old individuals, obtained in-depth, semi-structured telephone interviews during July – August between first second waves COVID-19. For conducting qualitative analyses, Grounded Theory (GT) approach for developing code structure used.
